There are plenty of activities going on in the area during June. Below is a selection of some of the highlights.

Guardamar del Segura
Guardamar del Segura will be hosting it's 14th Gastronomy Week form the 4th to the 10th June 2018. The week, which is called the 14a Semana Gastronómic de la Nora y el Langostino celebrates the long tradition of prawn fishing and the cultivation of red peppers.

The inaugural dinner will take place on Friday 1st June starting at 21:00 in the Restaurant Chema and costs 55€ per person. During the following week, the six restaurants from the Guardamar’s Restaurants Association will be offering special lunch and dinner menus at each of their establishments for 37€ including IVA. These are: Chema, Club Náutico, El Bocaito, El Bocaito Playa, El Jardín and Le Bleu.

The 13th edition of Artists in the Streets will be held in the central area of Elche from 7th to the 10th June 2018. The festival, known as Festival Artes de Calle attracts street performers from all over Spain. It is an ideal opportunity to take a wander, explore the city and enjoy the entertainment. All types of street performers will be there including acrobats, jugglers, street dancers, circus acts, theatre and the street statues which move when you place some money in their pot. There will also be an artisans market along Paseo de la Estación throughout the festival.

San Javier Military Air Show
The Patrulla Águila will be celebrating their 75th Anniversary on the 9th and 10th June 2018. The Spanish Military Aerobatic Flying team, known as the Patrulla Águila, are located at the Air Base in San Javier.

More information can be found on the official website, where you will also find the security rules which must be adhered to by all visitors. There is also information about all of the planes which will be taking part in the Festival. The programme is:

Santa Pola Rock Festival
The Rock 'n' Pola Festival will take place in Santa Pola on Friday the 15th and Saturday 16th June 2018. The concerts will start at 20:00 in the auditorium in the Palmeral Park and entrance is free. The line up is:

The Moors and Christians Fiesta in Benejúzar will start on Saturday 5th May and continue until the 17th June 2018. The fiesta is held every year in honour of the Patron Saint; Santisima Virgen del Rosario and includes many different events. The programme is in the brochure below and the main highlights are:

San Javier Jazz Festival
The internationally famous San Javier Jazz Festival will take place from the 30th June to the 28th July 2018. This will be the 21st year that the town of San Javier, on the shores of the Mar Menor, will be 'swinging' to the sounds of Jazz. The festival has been declared as being of Regional Tourist Interest and is well worth enjoying.

Tickets are available to buy online or via the Festival Office in San Javier. The line up is below, along with the price of the tickets and more information can be found on the official website. A Pass for all of the concerts (except the one on the 6th July) is 120€. This year, there are four free open air concerts outside the audiorium for you to enjoy.
